Hi,

I use older version of Project 2000.

I would like to know if the newest version of projet let
you have multiple ressources that can share workload.

example 3 carpenters if I assing the task to one of them
can it distribute to the others within the group?

Not only does the newer versions of Project allow this, Project 2000
allows this (as does previous versions).

You either assign three "units" of carpenters to the task, or you assign
each of the three carpenters to the task.

If you are trying to have Project automatically know to "convert" one
resource (the single carpenter) into three carpenters ... well, no. It
can't do that. You need to explain to Project what resources are assigned.

My question was about assigning the group or one
individual but not all individual. If I get new ressource
(from other dept. or otherwise) I would need to go
throught all task to verify/assign that new ressource.

Then I hope it be part of close to come release!
