I am using Word 2000 and have created a style which is a numbered list. this
works OK generally, and I have used the "Restart Numbering" radio button from
the Format Bullets and Numbering dialog to restart the numbering wherever I
start a new set of paragraphs numbered with this style in the document (From
reading other posts I see that this may be the problem). After working on the
document for some time, I find that for some of the paragraphs with this
style, it is no longer possible to restart the numbering because the radio
button on the dialog box is greyed out. Reapplying the style to the paragraph
does not clear the problem.
Any suggestions as to why this should be, or how I can sort the document
out? I have tried removing all numbered styles from the pragraphs in question
and then reapplying, but without success.
Thanks,
