I have created a kiosk style tutorial with nav buttons forward and back which
load once each slide's animation has completed. Clicking the back button
hyperlinks to the previous slide but to a point after animation has ended. In
other words to the end of the previous slide. Animation is not refreshed.
I've resolved this issue for the final slide by adding a home button which
loads to a dummy slide set to transition immediately to the first slide in
the show and that does restart my presentation, but if I try this between
each slide then I can never navigate backwards since the previous dummy slide
would instantly propel me forward again.
I want the reviewer to have control over what they see and repeat any given
slide's animation again in real time should they wish. Perhaps there is a way
to add a button which restarts the current slide but I can't find it. It
seems this should be possible. What's the good of having animation in a slide
if PowerPoint won't let you restart that animation at will? What am I missing?
