Restore backup

Using ON2007 Beta (last rlease < TR2). I wanted to change the location of my
notebooks and followed the instuctions in help. Before doing so I performed a
backup.

When I went to open the notebooks from their new location, one just wouldn't
work. I tried to use >File >Restore Backup but it is not very intuitive and
there do not seem to be any help instructions for using this 'Restore Backup'
function. Can anyone point me to a detailed explanation of how this feature
works?

Well, I think I ended up getting it to work - sort of.

Problems Encountered
1. I found NO help instructions for a feature that is listed on a major
toolbar, eg, >File>Restore Backup

2. I could not restore a whole notebook, I could only restore sections.

3. The sections, once restored came in to a new notebook area called
'Misplaced Sections'. I then cut and paste these back to the notbook where I
had lost everything.

4. The new sections now have today's date (in parenthesis) after every
section in the notebook. eg, (On 8-11-2006).

So, the data's back (I think), it's just pretty clunky.

What do you mean with it just won't work? What did you try and how does
the non-functioning show itself?

Aloha JR,

Regarding problem #1 - beta builds are always going to be pretty thin on
the help files - those are one of the last things put in.

Regarding #3 - Is this a shared notebook? Usually Misplaced Sections is where
sections that have sync issues get put.
