We just had a major system crash. We were able to save our data, but had to
resinstall Project Server. In doing so, it looks like Project Server creates
a new database, and we can't restore our old data. Is there a procedure for
associating the old ProjectServer database with a new installation?
Whenever we try to access our data, we get an error that says that the
database is inaccessible. I know that the data is still good, because I can
query it. I can't restore last week's backup because it appears that the
new database - though still named ProjectServer - must have some other
different identifying feature because SQL Server says that the two databases
aren't the same.
