Restore deleted distribution list from contacts screen

Outlook 2007 - Vista Home Premium

I have deleted a distribution list in error and having read a number of
previous threads on this subject, regarding the impossibility of restoring
said DL, want to know if this can be done in Outlook 2007, or is it a case of
resotre via rebuilding the list?

If you deleted it it will be in your Deleted items folder. Find it and drag
it back to your Contacts folder.

Hi,

Thanks for your post, I have been right through my deleted items and cannot
find it and it does not appear in the contacts section of Outlook.

The DL disapperaed when I tried to delete an entry and hit the delete icon
in the actions toolbar.

Any further ideas much appreciated.

If you deleted it it will be in your Deleted items folder. Find it and drag
it back to your Contacts folder.

That action places the DL in the Deleted Items Folder. If you also deleted
it from there, you really did want it gone, and it is. You will need to
restore it from your most recent backup of your data file.

An in all versions of Outlook, if you delete an item, including a DL, it
will be moved to the Deleted Items folder. Simply open that folder and drag
it back to Contacts. If you've emptied the Deleted Items folder, however,
you'll have to restore it from your most recent backup.
