It's always bugged me a bit that deleted DL's do not recover with an
Undo <Ctrl><z> - and further that they just seem a bit buggy and "die"
for no reason after time, but...
I've been asked to recover a deleted DL for a client.
It's an SBS 2003 Premium, R2 system (Exchange Server 2003), fully
patched. Client OS's are XP PP, fully patched, Office 2003 (2007 is
available on some machines).
I assume I have to put ES into Recovery Storage Group mode and restore
from backup to it. Then connect to the email box in question (not 100%
sure on how I do that as yet), and then I thought I'd save out the
Contacts (which should include the DL) as a pst file (I can't save the
whole lot as I know already the user has well over 2Gb).
Comments and suggestions welcome.
