In addition to the "Tasks" folder one can create other such tasks folders. If
you delete such task folder (and with it the tasks it holds) you get a
message asking you if you're sure and that the items will be moved to the
"deleted items".
Yet no such thing the tasks are gone.
I work with outlook 2003.
Can anyone second that? Can I retrieve my tasks?

(The thing is that on top of that Outlook show all task folder in one
column, yet in folder view -I just found out- some folders are part of other
folders like a directory structure. So thought I deleted just one task folder
yet I deleted all it's child folders - that I wanted to keep!).
Man, I thought 2003 was the 21st century, i'm like feeling thrown back a
decade when things like that were happening.
