Restore inbox look

Hunter

Hi. Recently when openning a email, I got an error message from outlook that
closed the program. When I reopenned this I had a different view on screen
for my inbox. Now I have simply the "main folders' column and the 'Inbox
column' thus the half screen of the hignlighted email has gone. I need to
restore the template to look like the original set up showing the full email
content on the right hand side of the page. Can anyone help?

Sure - we can help. We just cannot look over your shoulder.

What version of Outlook are you using? What view of the Navigation pane are
you using? (Folders, mail, etc.)

What was the exact error message you received? Have you tried resetting
your view?

Have you tried using Ctrl+6 to set your view to All Folders? Can you then
navigate to your preferred view from there?

I think you have turned off your Reading Pane or Preview Pane (the name
changes from version to version). Turn it back on. Try HELP to find it for
your version as I hate writing multiple how to's when I don't know which
version you have.

Hi. Its Explorer version 2007 as part of office basic. Its the openning
screen when starting the program. It goes straight to the mail, and
highlights the inbox. previously I hade 3 basic panels. The Folder list, the
Inbox and the email panel (showing the content of the email). Now the panel
with the email contaent has venished and Im want to restore it. What can be
done? As for the error message, I can remember what this was.
