Restore Outlook Express compressed messages

My Outlook Express compressed the messages in my local folders. Where did it
compress them to and how do I get them back. Many thanks

You are far more likely to get a reply if you post your question in an
Outlook Express group. This group is for the Microsoft Office Outlook
component, and not everybody here knows about Outlook Express. Examples

Nowhere. They are still where they were before but the files have lost all
the "white space" in them. BTW, OE doesn't "compress" files, it "compacts"
them.
