OK, here's my problem...
My computer had a general system crash, and I decided to rebuild from the
ground up, everything but the hard drives. Went from an Intel Processer to
AMD..
The boot wasn't successful, so I had to reinstall Windows (XP) and all other
programs, which while laborious, was not a big deal.
Now, Outlook cannot find any of the original files in the original Outlook
database. I have found the files in the correct path (C:\Windows\Doc's and
Settings\Bill local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook)
In that folder are four files..."archive", "mailbox", "Outlook" and "extend"
.. These files read as "Office Data File" (or DAT file for extend) ... they do
not have any extension behind them such as pst.
I need to get the files into the reinstalled version of Outlook 2003 (same
version as previous). Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bill
