Restore Outlook settings from backup

My hard drive crashed and I have a backup of my outlook files. I brought my
emails in but is there a way to copy over the settings from my backup so that
my rules, options and such are working?

Also is there a way to copy over the memory where when I go to type an email
address it it automatically fills in based on emails I have sent?

Probably not. If the Rules Wizard does not see the rules, you won't be able
to get them back, since you would have had to export them first on the old
PC. What options do you want? To what does "and such" refer?

The NK2 file is what you want. With Outlook closed, copy it to
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook and name it the same as your current mail
profile. It should work.

Thanks Brian. That worked for gettting my autofill for email addresses back
in. Small thing but frustrating when you are used to it. I had set up a
different email address to come into my outlook and then the rules had it
going to certain folders once they came in. That was the such - setting up
the additional email address but that is a small thing I can redo if I must.
