Hi there!

this is my first post on here so please be kind!

anyway onto the problem!

i recently downloaded a desktop "theme" (the "terminator 3 theme" from
download.com), after scanning it with my antivirus software i installed it. i
didnt really like the theme so decided to change back to my original
settings. upon completion of this i noticed that the Outlook "Email" shortcut
at the top of the XP menu had changed from the usual "Outlook" logo to one
that displayed nothing but a "blank white page" with a corner folded over on
the top right side. i know this might just be a "pet-peev" but i would really
like to know how to get it back!

when i click the "blank white page" icon Outlook does open so the link still
works but the "image" has dissappeared!

i have tried selecting other "email" programs and their icon appears but not
the Outlook one when i try to select it.

i hope you can help me please.

thanks

Harv

Hi,
you have to do it in the registry
START | RUN | regedit
navigate to the following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Deskto
p\NameSpace

Create a new key
(you can copy and paste the key into your registry)
{00020D75-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}

If you are able to read german, here is a screenshot
