Restore

Can anyone help me...I installed a "new" Maxtor 120 Gig SATA drive in my
system. I transfered everything over from my old drive, a 80 Gig Western
Digital, via Max Blaster. Most everything worked... Some problems with
icons not showing up correctly and I had to re-install severap programs.
I could not get the Restore Program to work... I re-installed Windows XP.
Still nothing. Don't know what the problem is.
If anyone has a solution, please advise.

I'd suggest asking this in an Windows XP group (they all start
microsoft.public.windowsxp)
