Restoring email from Outlook without a .pst file

I had to swap my primary hard drive with my secondary and install my OS
(Windows XP Professional) on it. I reinstalled Outlook 2000 to the new C:\
drive. How can I move all my old email and contacts from the previous
installation? Can I just copy the application data\outlook folder from the
former primary drive to the new one? I didn't get a chance to export
everything to a .pst file before my problem occurred.

Please help!

yes you can!
But be sure that you have full permissions to the files. Which files are
