Office 2004 database got corrupted today, had to rebuild.
Unfortunately, as we know, Categories get lost in this process because
it is syncing with an Exchange server, and we had not backed up the
database before today (won't make that mistake again).
Question is, is it possible to extract any data from a corrupted
database? Is it worth trying so my client doesn't have to manually
reassign categories to each of her hundreds of contacts?
Also, can we expect a new version of Office or any patches for 2004
soon?
