Restoring MS office toolbar

Is there anyway to restore the msoffice toolbar to its
original state?

I have tried deleting msoffice.exe and doing a repair,
but when office repairs the missing file, it reverts to a
toolbar with incorrect icons.

Any help would be great

Have you tried right clicking in an empty area of the toolbar and select
Refresh? If that does not work, have you tried installing TweakUI (Windows
PowerToy) and use the Rebuild Icons command?
