I lost my system to the infamous "Hal.DLL missing or
corrupt" problem and had to resort to re-loading XP on
the drive. All the files are present and accounted for
but the applications cannot be run unless set up is run
in the directory where they were installed. Q1: I bet I
need the original office CD's (which I only have the 2nd
one) to restore the software or is there another way???
Q2: Worse yet, I would like to be able to retrieve my
Outlook files. Can the emails and attachments be found
someplace or do they disappear with the ability to open
the application? Thanks for any help out there! If anyone
needs to know what happened to me on this Hal(dll)oween,
let me know.
