Restoring old Outlook address book

I recently reformatted my computer which had been running
windows 98. Before I did this I made a complete backup of
the hard drive onto an external drive.

I have now installed windows 2000 on the freshly cleaned
drive and I would like to retrieve my address book from
the backup.

In which file is my address book located if I was using
Outlook running on Windows 98? And where would I move
this file to allow my new copy of Outlook to read it?

Outlook has no address book. All Outlook data is in one file. The file you
need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the mail,
calendar, contacts etc are stored.
