Restoring original program

This might be an easy one....I hope, but someone has managed to
overwrite the initial program of Word on our computer. Everytime you
open word you have to erase the text in this document and reset the
margins. Is there anyway to restore Word so that when you open up the
program you just get a blank worksheet?

It would be an "easy one" if you'd give some indication of what version of
Word & Mac OS, as the answer varies somewhat from one to another.

The version is Windows XP and the version of Word is 2000.

In that case you might possibly want to resend your question to a group
specializing in Word for that OS :)

This group is for the Mac version of Word.
