Vista on our computer is not allowing us to boot our system and after several
attempts with Microsoft, it appears that our computer is going to have to be
recovered through a system recovery disk.
I do not want to lose our archived emails and address book in Outlook 2007.
I was able to get into the computer's dos-prompt through a boot disk and copy
the outlook and archive .pst files from the Outlook directory. (Do one of
these files also contact our address book?)
In the meantime, we purchased another laptop and have starting using that
Outlook (without the historical emails or address book). I had forgotten to
select the option to save a copy of the emails on the server when I setup
Outlook on the new computer.
Is there a way that I can combine the emails (sent/received) that I have on
my current (new) computer and the ones that I have from my old computer
(through the .pst files)? (Since I just can't download the new emails from
the server since a copy of them weren't stored there?)
Thanks!
