I created a custom version of the Task form to expose some user-defined
fields and made that my default Task form. I followed the process suggested
in response my earlier post entitled, "Adding User Defined Field to Task
Form" of May 2nd.
The custom form works fine in Outlook but has caused some problems with some
related applications. I've found another way to accomplish what the custom
form accomplished for me. So.... I want to go back to the standard Task
form.
Here's what I tried:
1) right-clicked on the Task folder, chose Properties
2) selected the standard form from the When posting to this folder list
3) followed the instructions in the FormsAdmin readme to restore a
message class to using a standard form
When I try to create a new task I get an Outlook error message saying, "The
object could not be found."
Fortunately I was able to get back to the custom form. I still want to get
back to the standard Task form. Any idea what steps I'm missing?
Thanks,
Gordon
