Restrict access to an Outlook folder

How can I make a single folder, preferably in Tasks, secret or closed to
access except by password? If possible, I would also like to make it secret
on my HP ipac handheld computer/phone, though that issue could wait for later.

You can't. Password protection is on an entire PST. The closest you can
come is to create a second PST containing only the folder you want protected
and password-protect that PST. However, you can't move any of your default
folders (Contacts, Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items, Calendar, Tasks,
Journal, etc.).

You can password-protect your entire PDA (and you should, if you think
others may get their hands on it).

Many, many thanks. I see now that I can get an inexpensive program for
protecting files or folders on both the handheld and main computer, so I
guess I'd better do that!

Sincerely,
Philip
