Hi there, new here,

I'm looking for a bit of help,

I'm running a Domain - Domain Controller at my house, for internal network -
with my backup server and my web server sitting inside the domain with an
Access Point so that other people could connect to my Domain and view my
website.
I have created a web site in FP2003 and published it to my web server -
FPserver extensions is installed - . In my website there are Hyper links
pointing to media files on my backup server. On my backup server, the
directory has been shared so that EVERYONE has access to it, now, every
user/s pc that has been joined to my Domain can access/open the media file
via my website but if the pc isn't joined to my Domain, you can access the
website but you can not access the media file.

I have created a Main page and Sub page. Only the Sub page is protected,
that is where the media links are - Username and Password - In FPserver
extensions Admin I have added the UserGroup that i have created in ADirectory
and eveyone is added to the group so that when it asks for a username an
password, you will then need to fill in the details you have registered with
the Administrator. When you fill in the details, you then can continue
further - that works fine - but when you click on the Hyper link, the page
thinks for a while and the says that it is restricted page. This only happens
when the pc isn't added to my domain, like my neighbors pc that want to view
the media.

Am i doing something totally wrong or just missing something

i hope the explanation helps

Thanks
