Restricting access to Project Costs and Resource Rates

Is it possible to restrict users of Project Pro from accessing resource rates
and project cost information, i.e they should be able to assign resources to
tasks but should not be able to view costs or resource rates.

You can restrict project managers from viewing resource rates in PWA, but
you cannot prevent them from doing so in Microsoft Project Professional.
Even though you can hide the Std. Rate and Ovt. Rate columns, a savvy user
of the software can easily insert the columns in any resource view. Because
of this, we recommend the use of blended rates in these fields, rather than
using actual salaries. Hope this helps.
