Hi,
I have a concordance file and am creating an index using the Automark
facility.
It correctly marks all the entries in the concordance, but also a number of
(apparently arbitrary) phrases starting with entries from the concordance.
For example, my concordance contains:
connect Commands: connect
An XE tag is place for any references "connect", but sometimes also for
whole phrases such as "connect the regression line and scatter plot".
I then have to search and destroy the unwanted XE tags.
It also places some of these tags a long way after the phrase (simple usage
like "connect" always seems to come immediately after the word).
Does anyone know:
Is there a way to restrict Automark to just the words in the concordance and
not phrases?
Is there any logic to the selection of phrases (e.g. phrases with more than
one concordance entry)?
Thanks
Roger
