I once saw an article on how we could change the resourceID of the resource
sheet and now I can't find it.

Anyone recall this?

thx in adv. PSD

Hi,

You can sort with renumber option set (Project, Sort). In Project Server
your Resource GUID will remain unchanged, but the ID will change.

I did this and the sort saved; however it did not restructure my ID's.

Have you executed this in MSPS 2003 SP3?

OK, you had better explain what you mean by restructure as Resource IDs are
numerical and in sequence, no change possible other than through sorting.

Are you trying to use the sorting feature "Permanently renumber resources"?
This option does not work in Project Server 2003 like it would on a
standalone mpp file with local resources. Meaning that it will not retain
the new resource IDs when saving schedules on the server.

Sorry for the bad news,
Jonathan
