Retaining created and due by dates on a Customer Form

Help!!! I am trying to design a form which would begin with Person A
initiating the form and completing a number of fields. This would then be
sent/forwarded to Person B who would complete more fields on the form and
send this back to Person A. The difficulty I have is that I would like a
time limit set on this process using the 'created' and 'due by' fields. When
the form is sent back to person A from Person B the 'created' and 'due by'
fields reset due to the reply/forward usage.

Is there any way to retain this information to the end of the process???

Thanks for any help in advance.

Are these custom fields? How are you setting their valves? Are you using the same custom form for replies?
