Retaining links when moving files

[CAFR Builder]

I have serveral Excel spreadsheets linked to a large Word document. I would
like to email those spreadsheets and the related Word file to a colleauge.
Can this be done in such a way so as to allow the links to be functional for
him? I am using Microsoft Office 2007 but the files involved are
"compatibility versions" of an earlier Microsoft Office suite.

To force Word to update the links to Excel workbooks, you'll need to use a macro like the one attached to the post. You might also
want to include some non-printing text in the document to alert the user to the need to keep the same (relative) path relationship
for the files and for the macro to be allowed to run.
