Retention of emails through rule

I have a rule that sends email with certain text in the subject to a personal
folder. I would like to know how to set retention for this folder so that I
am only retaining 7 days worth of emails.

Is it in a pst or exchange server?

Right click on the folder, choose properties, set 7 days for the archive
value and set it to delete. Then turn on autoarchive in tools, options,
autoarchive and set it to ran every day or so.

You can change the archive settings for the folder through the folder's
Properties dialog.
