Retracting Requests for Progress Information

I had selected specific tasks in Project and requested the task owner provide
an update to these tasks. Now, I need to "retract" a couple of those
requests. I found a reference to a projectserverexperts FAQ which says to
insert the Team Status Pending field and change the value to No. Then,
republish the tasks. After doing this, the icon in Project indicating
progress information has been requested goes away. However, the icon still
appears on the task owners timesheet. I also see it when view the Resource
Assignments in PWA. Is there a step I am missing?

Christina --

No, you are not missing a step. What you see if a flaw in the software,
which should have removed the indicator from the team member's timesheet.
In a situation like this, the PM should simply contact each of the team
members to tell them to disregard the indicator. Hope this helps.

In addition to my previous reply, I should have mentioned that the indicator
will disappear whenever the team member(s) in question update any progress
on that task. Hope this helps as well.
