Retreive a specified record from a table

I have created an InfoPath form that submits and retrieves data. I want the
user to enter an account number click a button, like select, and the
information for that account populates the form. Is that possible? Thanks
for your help.

Step 1: Make sure your form has data connections to submit and to receive data.
Step 2: Choose the field you wish the user to be able to select on (your
case the account number) from the My Fields < Query Fields.
Step 3: Add a Control Button which in properties will be a Query control
Step 4: Add the fields you want the query to display MyFields< Data Fields
in a section below the Query Button.
