I need advice on finding the BCM file from Outlook 2003. My computer was hit
with a virus; no backup. However, I took the drive to a guru who used a
program called Acronis (like Norton's Ghost I believe) to create a complete
image. That image file was then placed on an external drive I bought; my new
backup system! The guru also placed a copy of Arconis in the file but I
haven't fired up anything yet.
Assuming I can get the image file up, can I find the BCM file and copy it to
another location on my reformatted disc then begin using it as is or import
it if necessary? I need to do the same for the .pst file. I thought I had
the correct one copied to a CD before the image was created but learned I
copied an old .pst. I know the location of the .pst I need but not the BCM.
Could use some help locating it please.
The operating system of the original was Windows XP Home Edition but the
current one is Windows XP Professional. The program is Outlook 2003 in both
cases.
