Retrieve Document

Please Help

After having a document edited, I received the edited
verson back in an e-mail. I opened the e-mail (in
Outlook) and then opened the document attached to it.
After editing that version for six hours, I clicked save
and then closed Word. Later, I tried to open the document
from the MRU and got the error:

The document name or path is not valid. Try these
suggestions.
* Check the file permissions for the document or drive.
* Use the File Open dialog box to locate the document.
(path\filename)

I tried to locate the file, but failed. I tried the
Temporary Internet Files folder but couldn't find it
there either. It would REALLY help if you have any ideas
to help me find it. It would save me another six hours of
work. Thank you so much for your reply.

Just one of many reasons why you should never open an attachment directly.
When you do this, it is opened and saved in a temp folder. When you quit
Word, it is deleted. When you receive an attachment, always choose Save to
Disk instead of Open, and save it in a document folder.
