Retrieve Email When Outlook Shut Down

I wrote a long email then left it on my screen for about an hour without
saving it to draft (I know I should have) and then tried to spell check it.
The spell check said no errors but I couldn't believe that so I highlighted
the total long email and pushed spell check again. I was on about my fourth
correction when I got a message that Outlook had to shut down and it did. Now
I cannot find the email. Is there a chance it is in a temp file somewhere? I
am using VISTA.

Outlook does not store messages in individual files. If you had it open for
an hour, chances are that it's in your Drafts folder, because Outlook by
default saves unsent messages in Drafts. If it's not there, it's gone.
