Retrieve Sound file added to an email message

Two questions really:

In trying to ADD a sound file to an email message I get the error:
Object created in HTMLInlineVideoCtl. This application not available to
open this object. What does this mean ??

Second - on receiving an email that has a sound file how might I retrieve
that sound file - ie - save it off onto my system
