Retrieving a posted website

I had a website that I was reasonable happy with published to a server. My
PC hard drive failed and I lost my pc copy of the site. I want to update the
site and have a couple of questions:
1) How do I download my site from the server to my pc?
2) How do I restore all the links between the pages when I do this?

I previously tried to do this through the WIZARD import feature and although
all the pages were on my pc in the FOLDERS view - the NAVIGATION view was
empty.

HELP!!!!!

Sounds like a good idea but it gives me an error message that the site is
inaccessible - hmmm.

This is my site address:

http://www.rootsweb.com/~nirdow2/

By using another method and importing the site I can get all the pages on my
pc and then I have done a recalculate hyperlinks - but nothing shows in the
navigation menu. Any thoughts?

Thanks Kathleen.

Oh I see - rootsweb doesn't support FP extensions but they do work once it's
uploaded. So that explains why I lose the navigation structure - what a
pain! Is it easy to rebuild it?

Thanks again. Oh well! It still should be quicker than redoing the whole
site. I'll give it a go.
