Retrieving custom field values within SQL

We have a custom field set up for resources called Cost Center 1 (. We now
want to migrate the information from the custom Cost Center 1 field into the
default Cost Center field (RES_Cost_Center) for each resource. How do we
pull the values from a custom field in SQL?
