I am currently working in a plant that has to breakdown material
orders from two other plants. For example, each of these plants come
up with an order of 1000 lbs., which in turn we provide them with two-
three products based on percentages of that order that we contribute
to.
So, what we are trying to do is create a schedule for all the outgoing
orders. I already created the appearance of the schedule, but I would
like to know how to retrieve the information from another sheet. I
thought I could retrieve the information by date and by product ID.
In the end what I want to be able to do is key in and order for 1000
lbs of a certain product type, and the spreadsheet breakdown what
amount we have to produce to complete the order for that day. The
schedule that I would like to set up would have to be a 30-day
schedule that we could look out to.
