Retrieving Outlook from an external hard drive.

My computer hard drive had crashed and I had to receive a new hard drive.
Before by drive crashed, I was lucky enough to have an external Hard Drive
(Maxtor) back up my files, music, etc. I start from scratch by loading all
the system software: Operating system, dirvers, office etc. followed by my
eternal hardware software.

( I am only pulling the music, and personal files off. I am not doing the
recovery)

I am able to see my new C drive information and my External previous F:
drive information.
Q/ Is it possible to somehow retrieve the Outlook contacts/old email from my
external drive to my current C drive.

depending on which version of OL, try searching for *.pst
copy to hard disk and uncheck read only under properties
