Retrospective stationery /Splitting text block /Reset note flag

I'd like to be able to do the following:

1) Retrospectively apply stationery to a page

2) Split a text block into 2 blocks without having to cut, create a new
block, and paste

3) Reset a customised note flag. (In my testing I created a note flag on
Ctrl+6. I want to set it back to undefined so it does not take up space on
the toolbar. I tried renaming it to "Undefined" but it says the name is
already in use.)

Can anyone tell me how to do any of the above? Thanks.

I found the answer to my question 3 in the post "How do I delete a
previously "customized" noteflag?", dated 7/31/2005 - the scorched earth
approach.

Questions 1 and 2 are clearly indicated as not possible in various
sources. However here are work-arounds.

You can't change stationary on a page which has content. However, you
can select all, cut or copy all the content, create a new page using the
stationary that you want, paste the content into that new page.

For the second, you can select to end (cursor at correct location,
Shift-End) then drag using the left handle down to create a new content
block.
