Return a value based on another sheet info

I need to create a formula that returns a value based on the value of another
column. If i enter the name in sheet 2 i need the location and position
column to auto fill with correct info.
Sheet 1 will be my data base.

and

Sheet1 B2:B4 = locations
Sheet1 C2:C4 = positions

Sheet2:

A1 = name = Mary

Enter this formula in A2 and copy down to A3:

=VLOOKUP(A$1,Sheet1!A$2:C$4,ROWS(A$2:A2)+1,0)
