Return Address

This is my 2nd mailmerge project. The first project, addressing labels,
finally went quite nicely. Now I wish to try addressing envelopes. All has
gone smoothly except I have not discovered a way to get the return address on
the envelope. A window comes up allowing separate font selections for main
address and return address but no windows have come up allowing the setup of
the return address. Am I simply overlooking it? Do I have to set it up
separatly somewhere else? All ideas, comments, and suggestions will be
greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.

I assume that you are using Word XP or 2003. If that is the case, from the
View menu, select Toolbars and turn on the Mailmerge Toolbar and use that
for creating your mailmerge. When you do that, after clicking OK in the
Envelope Options dialog, you will see a document that represents the
envelope. Click on the ¶ button to show the end of paragraph marks and you
will see ¶ in the location where the return address and the delivery address
are to be set up.

OOPS! We are 98SE, our system won't support anything bigger. After clicking
Get Data, and Setup Document, Envelope Options comes up. Then up comes
Envelope Address to Insert address fields and select fonts for main address
and return address. Then Merge to New Document. The Envelope comes up with
the first address. As long as the Mail Merge Helper is on screen, I have a
Mail Merge Toolbar on screen. As soon as the Mail Merge Helper goes off
screen, I loose the Mail Merge toolbar and can find no way to call it back
without clicking Tools, Mail Merge. Click on the address and the field box
appears. No amount of clicking brings up a field box for the return address.
Any idea where I went wrong? Thanks, K.

There is no frame (field box) for the return address. Just click on the ¶
button and you will see a couple of ¶ at the top left of the envelope. Move
the cursor there and either insert the appropriate merge fields on just type
in the return address.
