Someone I am trying to help is using Outlook with an ISP and also with an Exchange server that is only local mail. For the local mail they have a name.local domain set up. I don't like this but they want to keep it. They have an ISP pop/smtp account and the local account set up in Outlook. It is causing them problems because for reasons unknown an email sent on the ISP account will sometimes have a return-path set to name.local which of course the recipient cannot respond to. The "from" field is correct with their name.com address. What could be causing this behavior?.
