Return the cell location of a value

Quick question- how do I return the cell location of a
value? For example, if I wanted to find the maximum value
of a range, it would be =max(range). Once I get that
number, however, how do I have Excel return the location
of that cell?

Hi Shawn

one way
=CELL("address",INDEX(A:A,MATCH(MAX(A:A),A:A,0)))

where A:A is your range
