Hi. I waited until late in the game to try out the Beta of MS Office. It is
the first time I've tried to be a beta user for such products and
unfortunately, it is too buggy for me to use. I'm not complaining as I did
this knowing it wasn't the final release, but still I thought I presumed the
product was close enough to completion that I could use if for everyday work.
Unfortunately, Outlook crashes all the time, and there have been many oter
problems. A couple of questions: 1. How do I return to my previous versions?
Do I just uninstall the beta and reinstall the older version? 2. I had over
10 years of crafted macros and toolbars that all went missing when I
installed the new version. (*Dear Microsoft, a warning that this would occur
would have been nice.) If I reinstall my older version of Office, will it
automatically detect my previous macros and toolbars, are they gone for good,
or do I have to do something? Good luck to the development team. If they
want specific feedback, please let me know. Bob
