Since office 2010 apps render MS XML
It would seem to me to be an easy if not trivial task to offer the ability to treat text block as XML elements that can be referenced and reused elsewhere within onenote.
It would be EXTREMELY convenient to only need to update one text block and have it ripple through all documents referencing the text element.
This is a major advantage of confluence.
The type of note pages I am writing for myself require me to present the data in several different formats. If there is a way to reuse text and have it change when modified I have not been able to present the correct keywords to find the solution. Thus I present this request for enhancement.... Not that I expect MS to act upon it
