Reveal Format

Hello- I've never used a newsgroup before so I don't
know much about it. Am i supposed to come back here
later to see if there is a reply, or might someone send
me a note in response to my question? (Sorry for the
trouble)

After some time, I figured out how to get Word (in Office
2002) to "Reveal Format" so I can see where there are
paragraph marks, etc. Now I can't figure out how to get
it OUT of "reveal format" mode, so any time I start a
document, it has all kinds of unwelcome formatting
information mixed in with the text. Can anyone help me?
