"Reverse" Network Diagram

Hiya,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to lay the Network Diagram view out from
Right to Left?

Also, is it possible to create summary tasks within the Network Diagram (for
example, if sub-tasks automatically summarise from their parent tasks).

I have tried using the Network Diagram view to brainstorm a Product-Based
Plan, but subsequently indenting tasks within the Gantt view lead to a
confused mess (partly due to the dependencies attached to tasks which became
Summary tasks)

Any advice would be greatfully received.

No.

No, it works just the opposite, the Summary lines are summaries of the
sub-tasks. There is no way to reverse this.

Links between Summary Tasks are one of the major pitfalls in using
Project. Definitely to be avoided.

I don't follow what you're trying to do here. Project is a tool
primarily for doing Critical Path Method scheduling. It doesn't sound
like this is the right application for what you're doing. If you want
to give me more detail on what you're trying to accomplish, I might be
able to help you, either to find something else or to use Project.

Hope this helps in your world.
