Hello,
Running XP.
About 6 months ago, I installed the Enterprise Office edition (yes, a legal
copy)
All went well, and have been using ever since.
Also have a several years old version of WORD on my PC.
As of a few weeks ago, the following has started and is driving me crazy.
No problem with Excel 2007, only with Word 2007.
Even though I have all my new Word documents for the last 6 months ago saved
in Word 2007, every now and then, it seems to want to, or actually does,
revert to the older Word. The documents icon also reverts back.
Then, if I try to open it up, it goes thru (request first) the whole Office
2007 configuration process agai, which on my PC takes about 10 minutes.
Then, all is fine for another week or so; documents created in Word 2007
open up in Word 2007 as they should.
All of this reverting back, and needing to re-configure and Setup started
only a few weeks ago.
Anyone experience this ?
Any idea what might be happening ?
